about me
I’m a part-time movement teacher as well as a full-time music programer living in Bern and sometimes Berlin. Above all I'm a human being curious about movement – movement as play, movement as an expression, and movement as a way to arrive and feel home in the body.
With a background as a professional volleyball player my life was accompanied by movement ever since I was a child. Only after resigning from this intense athletic routine some years ago I realized how important it is for my general well-being.
I got in touch with yoga while I still was a professional athlete and valued it as a gentle addition to the rather repetitive volleyball moves. I still remember walking out of the studio after a yoga session and feeling like I have touched upon every spot within my whole body. It made me realize that with a mindful way of moving I could access and explore territories in my body that I haven’t even known before. My curiosity was awakened and I deepened my practice and took up the education to become a yoga teacher with Tatjana Mesar, Berlin based yoga and meditation teacher and founder of the Dynamic Mindfulness yoga practice. This non-dogmatic, movement-science informed and contextualized way of practicing and teaching yoga corresponds well with my values and interests and that is also what I want to share with everybody who is practicing with me.
My curiosity is further dedicated to art and its transmission. I have been working as a music and literature programer for almost five years now and love being part of this creative surrounding. The constant reflection and expression of time and its stories makes art the ultimate juice of life for me!
